Since September 2009 we have successfully implemented the ‘International Primary Curriculum’. Numeracy and Literacy are taught alongside the core subjects for the IPC which include:

• Science
• History
• Art
• Language
• Geography

The IPC is a topic-based curriculum that focuses on a combination of  academic, personal and international learning, with innovative, exciting, The core subjects are taught through topics which include:

• The Rainforest
• Mission to Mars and Beyond
• Chocolate
• Fit for Life
• They See the World Like This
• Airports
• The Olympics
• Making the News

Topics always finish with a celebratory exit day when parents are invited to share their children’s learning journey. Recent events have included Airport Day when the school was converted into ‘Wells International Airport’ and over 120 parents visited worldwide destinations. ‘They See the World Like This’ concluded with a bright and colourful art exhibition with each child dressing up as their chosen artist to show over 80 visitors the vibrant art work. The IPC is used in many high performing schools across the world and is fully compatible with the National Curriculum.
